President Ruto’s statement on July 25, 2023, indicates that he is considering talks with Azimio Principals.

In reaction, bigwigs within Ruto camp are insisting on power-exclusive talks. The commander in Chief had this to say in a Tweet.
“My friend Raila Odinga, I am off to Tanzania for a human capital meeting to harmonise the expansion of employment opportunities in our continent. I’m back tomorrow evening, and as you have always known, I am available to meet one on one with you anytime at your convenience.”President Wiliam Ruto.
Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro says Ruto should not consider a ‘Nusu Mkate’ deal.
“Protests and dialogue are not a route to any kind of government. We can talk about everything else apart from power sharing and opening the decision Kenyans made on August 2022.
What the President is communicating is that State House is a public place. He is always open to listening to Kenyans from all walks of life but rarely encourages people to see him through brokerage.”MP Ndindi Nyoro.

On his side, National Assembly Leader of Majority Kimani Ichung’wah is displeased with Raila and former president Uhuru Kenyatta.

It is well, some progress. Happy that Raila has recovered from the flu but when did he start working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or as State House spokesperson?”Kimani Ichung’wah.
