2022 KCSE results release date is sending a cold chill down the spine of most candidates who sat the recent high school national exam between 2nd and 23rd Dec 2022.

The Ministry of Education says the exam report will be ready before schools reopened on 23rd January.

Credible sources say that The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) & Education CS Ezekiel Machogu will release the KCSE exams 2022 on Friday, January 20th, 2023.

Intensive performance analysis and adjustment of the grading system could not delay the process any longer.
Speaking to the press a few months ago, Basic Education Principal Secretary Dr Belio Kipsang confirmed that the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations would be released by January 23rd – before schools reopen.
“Most of us, as you know, have to go out to celebrate Christmas but we shall be running around to make sure that we are prepared to let our children know their status before schools open on January 23.”

He released the statement, within a few days of completing high school national exams.
The ministry maintains that the speedy marking directly supervised by chief examiners from across the country was driven with uttermost accuracy.
2022 KPSEA, KCPE, KCSE enrolment report
KNEC report shows that enrolment of KCSE candidates increased by 1.5 per cent between 2021 and 2022.

Those who enrolled for KCPE exams also increased by 6.4 per cent within the same period.

A word on the street has it that the new CS may increase the university entry grade to a B plain for male candidates and B- for female candidates.

Qualified students will be required to apply for courses on the KUCCPS portal and receive university placement within the year.
