Aisha Jumwa Education History
The UDA-affiliated CS Aisha Jumwa Karisa Katana nicknamed Shangazi Wa Taifa is the daughter of a six-wife and 27-sibling polygamous family with an ancestral home in Takaungu Village, Kilifi County.

The fact that her parents Karisa Katana and Sidi Kazungu could hardly supply basic needs did not stop Aisha from dreaming big.
The 47 years old Aisha Jumwa born on March 28, 1975, recently told a 15-member vetting panel about her early marriage and strenuous education background.
Primary and high school grade
CS Aisha Jumwa started schooling at Takaungu DEB Primary School in Takaungu Mavueni – she sat for her KCPE exams in 1990.

She later proceeded to Ganze Secondary School despite a constant lacking of school fees.
Unfortunately, Aisha Jumwa became pregnant while in form two. As a result, she dropped out of school to nurse her firstborn child.
Thereafter, she married off a young girl to a much older husband. Reputable sources say she divorced to pursue politics being that her spouse was against the idea.
Furthermore, she has left three marriages for her undying interest in politics. As we speak, she is a caring mother of three children among them two daughters and a handsome son.
In a recent interview, Aisha Jumwa said she was tired of being a housewife at the point of separating from her first husband.
“I was not content to be a housewife, so I took a keen interest in matters affecting communities and became a vocal voice to youth, women and people living with disabilities and I decided to join active politics.”Gender CS Aisha Jumwa.
On recalling her education, Aisha Jumwa joined Ganze Secondary School in 1991 but would drop out in 1992 for lack of school fees.

After a while, she enrolled at Nyali Senior School completing her KCSE exams in 2011. The former Malindi MP allegedly scored a D- (minus).
“I represent many who today are looking at Aisha Jumwa as a role model in that you can have a D or D- and get somewhere in life… So I am not even shy because it is in the public domain but I think that should not be used to judge Aisha Jumwa on sitting in the Cabinet. Aisha Jumwa University Education background
The vocal Cabinet Secretary received admission at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in 2012 for a certificate in County Governance.

On top of that, she is an Executive Diploma holder in Leadership and governance from the same Institution – 2015.
In 2020, Aisha Jumwa graduated from JKUAT with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. In 2022, she wore another gown for a Leadership and Management Bachelor’s Degree from International Leadership University.
And now, she is an ongoing Bachelor of Laws Degree student at the prestigious African Nazarene University.
She is on record for flaunting her graduation photos on mainstream media. Meanwhile, the former Kilifi North MP Owen Baya is among rival politicians who stand opposed to Aisha Jumwa’s academic progress.
